100 Words Treatment
The proposed OTT Show dwells into the works and life of an International Award Winning School Teacher and her Students. Always using a creative approach to educate her Students, Ms. Dipal Jain, profoundly known as D. J. Madam, decides to teach her students about Constitution, Democracy and Elections by organising a Mock Electoral Campaign. In their assignments, the Students shall be undertaking Campaigning and Canvassing activities and encouraging other Students and Teachers to come out to exercise their Right to Vote and Vote for their Candidate in the Mock Elections. What starts as a School Project of Election Awareness inadvertently becomes a Real Election War!
The Story
This story is about Ms. Dipal Jain, profoundly known as D. J. Madam, a highly dedicated and creative School Teacher. Having ardent love for educating and shaping young minds, D J Madam has stuck to being a School Teacher, for as long as anyone can remember
D J Madam loves teaching so much that she has always ignored the offers of even becoming a School Principal. For someone who has also been dodging all the Investors offering to support her for starting her own International School, D J Madam is unaware that she is the kind of a Non-corrupt Political Leader that people of India need, and would Vote for
In order to educate her students about Constitution, Democracy and Elections, D J Madam decides to organise a Mock Electoral Campaign, just a few weeks before Gujarat State Legislative Assembly Elections. In their assignments, the students shall be undertaking Campaigning and Canvassing activities and encouraging other Students and Teachers come out to exercise their Right to Vote and Vote for their Candidate in the Mock Elections
Coincidentally, it is at this time, the Mayor decides to shut down a Public School, where D J Madam and some of her Students go to Volunteer and Teach. They publicly appeal to the Education Minister to allot funds so that the School does not shut down. They lose it when the Education Minister mocks the Female Students and encourages them to make dance reels on social media instead of suggesting what the Education Minister should do
That is when Fate takes a Turn. What started as a School Project of Election Awareness inadvertently becomes a Real Election War! Students line up and demand D J Madam to contest the upcoming Gujarat State Legislative Assembly Elections, beat the current Education Minister, and throw him out of Power
In a Country, which is divided by Caste, Class, Language and Religion, will D J Madam and her Students be able beat a hard core Politician at his own Game? What will happen when the Children get out on the streets to Call for Action against the Political Party whose Members are their own Parents? Is a Passionate Call for Action sufficient to Make a Change in India?
The Format of the Show is to share the story through One or Two Seasons
There is an option to turn it into a Full Length Feature Film for OTT or Theatrical Release or both
